Clean the Roasting Drum After Each Use

After the machine cools completely, remove the roasting drum and wipe away chaff residue with a dry cloth or soft brush. Do not wash the drum with water.

Empty the Chaff Collector

Empty the chaff collector after each roast. Accumulated chaff can restrict airflow and affect roast quality.

Periodic Deep Cleaning

Every 20–30 roasts, disassemble components and use a stiff brush to clean accumulated coffee oils inside the roasting chamber. Inspect the heating element and fan.

Storage & Ventilation

Always roast in a well-ventilated area or near an exhaust hood. Store the machine in a dry place, away from moisture. Never cover while still hot.

What roasting technology does GeneCafe use?
GeneCafe uses patented vortex twisting, off-axis rotation technology — a Pyrex glass roast chamber rotates off-axis while indirect hot air evenly roasts beans 360°. This is GeneCafe's exclusive technology, fundamentally different from traditional drum roasting.
What is the warranty period?

Does it work with Vietnamese power outlets?
Yes. GeneCafe models sold in Vietnam are compatible with the standard 220V/50Hz Vietnamese power supply. No power adapter needed.
What is the difference between CBR-101 and CBR-301?
CBR-101 is the basic household roaster with up to 250g capacity and simple controls. CBR-301 is the advanced model with 300g capacity and mobile app connectivity for precise roast monitoring and profile control.
Is home roasting difficult?
Not at all. GeneCafe roasters are designed for beginners. Just add green beans, set temperature and time, and the machine roasts and cools automatically. With CBR-301, the mobile app even suggests roast profiles for different bean types.
